Event support options

The Dean's Office event support team can support your event if your event meets certain criteria, based on the below three factors. Review the list and consider carefully which category your event falls into.

Rooms needed

  • One: In-Person
  • None: Virtual
  • Two or more: Conference

Target audience

  • Public, Alumni, Western community: Public Lecture
  • Students and Faculty: Class
  • Staff and/or Faculty: Internal meeting

Audience participation

  • Passive: audience are attendees, watching only
  • Active: audience are active participants
